Manchester United pair Nemanja Matic and Bruno Fernandes clash on the pitch during their Carabao Cup win at Everton.

The Daily Star says Matic was seen shoving United team-mate Fernandes following a heated argument.

The two started for the Red Devils in the League Cup quarter-final against Everton at Goodison Park.

United started well, dominating the first 20 minutes and creating a number of fine chances though could not put them away.

And there appeared to be some frustration in the midfield with Matic and Fernandes engaging in some heated words.

It ended with the Serb shoving his team-mate before shouting towards Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the rest of the United bench.
