Manchester United are moving for Velez Sarsfield midfielder Thiago Almada.

TMW says United have made contact with Almada's management team about a move this summer to England.

A first approach to Velez has also been made about a price for the youngster.

It's been suggested Almnda's contract carries a €25m buyout clause - but United are in talks with Velez about talking that figure down.

United hope to do business for around €18m.
