Manchester United are said to be on the brink of signing Jurrien Timber from Ajax.

The Red Devils are eager to secure a center-back for manager Erik ten Hag.

According to The Sun, United's interest in Timber is very real.

Ameida states that Timber is "one step away" from securing a move to the Old Trafford club.

Timber would cost United roughly £30 million, and is not the only defender linked to the club.

Fabrizio Romano stated this week that United were looking at Timber and Villarreal's Pau Torres as center half options.
