Manchester United haven't dropped their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.

The Telegraph says United have not given up on trying to sign Sancho in the summer after the failed attempt in 2020.

They report that they could still go back for Sancho in the summer, despite his mixed form at the start of the season.

It's also claimed that the immediate focus in the transfer market is a defender, and they could act in January if the right player becomes available.

Bayern Munich defender David Alaba's agent Pini Zahavi has been contacted by United in recent days.
