Manchester United are eager to secure Eric Bailly to a new deal.
The Sun says United are set to sit down with Bailly over extending his contract – despite his shocking injury record.
The Ivory Coast defender is out of contract next summer, and will be a free agent once his £120,000-a-week terms expire.
He is out injured until January after picking up a medial knee ligament injury in a pre-season warm-up match.
It was his second serious injury in the space of a year, following an ankle problem that kept him out for four-months.
But United feel the 25-year-old still has a future at the club, and want him to stay and be back-up to Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
