Manchester United are not pursuing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils were linked to Zakaria by the German press in recent days, with the suggestion that interim manager Ralf Rangnick wants to secure the defensive midfielder as soon as possible.
However, the Manchester Evening News claims Zakaria is not a January target.
The source indicates that the club does not expect to have a busy window, and any significant moves are likely to involve players leaving on loan.
Zakaria is out of contract in the summer, and would be available for roughly £6 million.
