Man Utd not dropping plans for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano

Manchester United remain interested in RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.

The Times says United battered RB Leipzig in the Champions League in midweek, winning 5-0 with Rashford scoring a hat-trick to light up Old Trafford.

Upamecano endured a horrific evening that night, with the France international unable to cope with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's attack.

However, United are lining up a bid for the 22-year-old next summer.

They know they require defensive reinforcements with Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly all inconsistent.

And Upamecano could feasibly move to Old Trafford next year.
