Manchester United No2 Mike Phelan has assured fans plans are underway for Sunday's clash against Liverpool.

With the game against their fierce rivals looming large, Phelan will know the tactics will have to be spot on against Jurgen Klopp's side.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's deputy posted a picture on Twitter of himself leaning studiously over some notes at the club's Carrington base.

The 56-year-old wrote: "Morning all, think tank in full flow as we prep for the weekend."
