Man Utd new boy Pogba ready to go against Southampton

Paul Pogba insists he is ready for action ahead of his second Manchester United debut.

The 23-year-old midfielder returned to the club from Italian giants Juventus on August 8 but was unable to feature in the Premier League season opener against AFC Bournemouth on Sunday due to suspension.

However, the France international who cost a world record £89million has declared himself fit to take on Southampton at Old Trafford this Friday night.

"You have to ask the manager, but I feel very good and have been training for 10 days. I am okay," Pogba said in the Manchester Evening News.

"I am quite used to this. I played the World Cup two years ago when at Juve and three years ago I was at the U20 World Cup as well.

"So I am okay. It is about your body and I have been training on my holidays."
