Man Utd near perfect for derby win - De Gea

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea hailed his defence after their 2-0 win over Manchester City.

The win represented the eighth time United have kept a clean sheet in the last 10 matches and it was a moment to savour for De Gea.

“Well I think we nearly had a perfect game and especially defensively, because we defended really well and we didn't concede many chances," De Gea told MUTV.

"When you play against City you know they are going to pressure, they are going to have the ball, but I thought we had a great game, we deserved the three points and we are really, really happy.

“The whole team is in a good moment, so we need to keep doing it like we did tonight. We need to be very consistent until the end of the season, playing like a team, creating chances, defending properly, so let's see what we can achieve at the end of the season."
