Manchester United are eyeing French teenager Noam Emeran.

RMC says the 16-year-old is widely expected to leave Amiens in the near future with a host of top European clubs monitoring his progress.

Emeran, who has been compared to Leroy Sane, is a France Under-16 international.

Reports in France on Monday suggested United had won the race to sign the youngster with Emeran having already accepted an offer.

Those claims are wide of the mark and although United are interested, they still face competition from clubs in Spain and Italy.

Barcelona, Juventus and Valencia are also believed to be keeping tabs on Emeran
