Man Utd monitoring Sneijder's deteriorating Galatasaray situation

Manchester United are monitoring Wesley Sneijder's deteriorating situation at Galatasaray. Sneijder, 30, was dropped for Gala's 3-0 loss to Trabzonspor on Saturday, a decision which perplexed him and most supporters.

Speaking to Bugun TV, Sneijder's agent, Guido Albers, said: "I do not know why he was sitting on the bench.

"We'll have talks with the board on Wednesday in Brussels. We're going to speak about Wesley and we'll discuss this important event.

"I really do not know why he did not start in the team. Sneijder wants to stay, but he continues to sit on the bench. Nobody wants to sit on the bench."

The news of Sneijder's critical talks with Gala will be music to the ears of Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal, who according to reports, is keen to lure the former Real Madrid star to Old Trafford, says the Daily Star.
