Manchester United are monitoring Schalke fullback Christian Fuchs.
The Mirror says United are scouting Fuchs as a long-term replacement for Patrice Evra.
The left back, 25, was watched by Old Trafford staff in Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Borussia Dortmund and is noted for his set-piece abilities.
Austrian Fuchs joined Schalke for £4m this summer from Bochum after impressing on loan at Mainz last season. He is also being tracked by Juventus, Parma and Malaga.
