Man Utd midfielder Powell raring to go for Hull City

New Hull City signing Nick Powell has expressed his desire to do well after making a loan move to the KC Stadium from Manchester United.

Powell completed a deadline day move to Hull from United and the midfielder has been seen as a good acquisition for the promotion-chasing Tigers.

Powell has not received much game time over the past 12 months though and the youngster has now stated that he is looking to use the opportunity at Hull, under Steve Bruce, to get his career back on track.

The 21-year-old told the club's official website: "I haven't played in a long time. I have been injured quite a lot but hopefully that's in the past. I am striving to get more games and play football again.

"I had a lot of game time with Wigan, played games, scored some goals. That's pretty much what I am trying to do here. I want to score goals but mostly enjoy football again.

"It's time to get some games now. I'm raring to go."
