Man Utd midfielder Pogba: Ferguson would watch our academy games

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has spoken of the first time he met with Sir Alex Ferguson.

In an interview with The Times, Pogba was asked for his first impression of Ferguson.

He responded: "It was huge.

"The first time he came to me I didn't really understand because of his accent. I couldn't really speak that good English. I was very shy. The boss was talking to us like his sons.

"When I was in the academy he used to come and watch some games. He was really into youth players. He made us train with the first team and stuff like that so I had a very, very good impression [of him]."
