Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits celebrating Andreas Pereira's goal against Southampton with more gusto on Saturday.
Solskjaer was delighted to see Pereira take his chance in the 3-2 win.
"Of course. When young players who are at the start of their career get criticised, there is nothing better than seeing them seize the opportunity when they get it," he told VG.
"I'm so happy with him, so happy on his behalf. He has come up through the academy. We know what he is capable of. He has lots of energy and drive."
Pereira also said: "Solskjaer shows that he has great confidence in me. I am very happy about it and want to show how grateful I am by giving everything I have on the pitch."
