Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira believes his team will rise to the occasion against Barcelona.

The Red Devils play the first tie at home, followed by a return leg at the Nou Camp.

And Pereira believes that Barca should not take the Red Devils lightly, even if they are underdogs going into the tie.

"Against the big clubs, we rise to the occasion," Pereira told MUTV.

"We show our character.

"We show the real Man United spirit and I think, after what we did against PSG, other teams will be more ready for that, so they will respect us even more."
