Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has credited physio David Binningsley for helping him return from injury ahead of schedule.

McTominay has not played for the Red Devils since damaging his knee ligaments against Newcastle on Boxing Day.

But he is now working hard in Marbella during United's winter break in order to be fit for his side's clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on February 17.

The Scotland international told United's official website: "Yeah, I have been working with Dave - or Binners, as we call him - and he has been top drawer.

"He has been anything that I have needed. He has just got me out of the house and stuff like that.

"Anything that I have ever wanted, he has been there and obviously through my recovery he has been an absolute blessing. He has been top drawer."
