Nemanja Matic says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has received plenty of help from his backroom staff this season.

United have completely turned around their season since appointing the Norwegian was appointed in December, having won 14 out of 19 games under his leadership.

And Serbia International Matic hopes that Solskjaer, along with assistants Mike Phelan, Michael and Kieran McKenna, are kept on beyond this season.

"I think he is a great manager," Matic told ESPN. "But you have to say also that with Mike, Michael and Kieran, they work very well together. They work as a team. It is not only Ole.

"There are people behind him who help us. I will be happy if he stays, and I hope he will."
