Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic has named a new stadium after his former Jose Mourinho.

Matic has regularly invested money into his homeland, with his latest project being the construction of a new playing field in his home municipality of Ub.

The United midfielder has overseen the construction of the new 500-seater facility which will now be named after Mourinho, reports Telegraf.

The new pitch has been built opposite Nemanja Matic Street in Ub and is next to the Dragan Dzajic Stadium, with the project set to also include the construction of a football musuem.
