Sunderland are finalsing the signing of Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson.
The Manchester Evening News says Gibson is on the verge of joining Sunderland in a £5m deal.
Gibson made 20 appearances for the Reds last season, scoring two goals, but has failed to force his way into the first team picture at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old now seems set to join up with former United defender Steve Bruce at the Black Cats.
