Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini could face retrospective action for his off-the-ball elbow on Liverpool's Emre Can.
Fellaini appeared to lash out with an elbow on Reds midfielder Can during the closing stages of United's 2-0 Europa League Round of 16 first leg defeat at Anfield on Thursday but the Belgian was not punished as referee Carlos Velasco Carballo missed the incident.
Nonetheless, Fellaini could still be in trouble as the violent conduct is set to be reviewed by UEFA and former referee Howard Webb believes that the United midfielder is likely to face a lengthy ban for his offence.
Speaking to BT Sport, Webb said: "If the referees had seen that, it would have been a red card for sure.
"UEFA might want to look at that as well, it was clearly an act of violent conduct, none of the six officials saw it on the day."
