Aidan Barlow says he couldn't turn down joining Tromso.
The Manchester United youngster made a surprising four-month loan switch to the Norwegian club last month.
"It came about through the club," Barlow told the Manchester Evening News when asked about his surprise loan move.
"Mark Dempsey has worked here before, and obviously the boss, coming from Norway.
"They just recommended that through their interest, and then I thought it is something different and it is going to be a good experience. Obviously I can gain a lot from it, so I just took the opportunity.
"I did a bit of research, but I didn't know much about it. It is a good place with good people. There are a lot of passionate people here."
