Man Utd matchwinner Rashford: We must start better

Manchester United matchwinner Marcus Rashford admits they should've done better for their 2-1 win at Bournemouth.

United started the game poorly and were fortunate to not fall more than one goal behind after Callum Wilson's opener for the hosts.

Anthony Martial salvaged a dire first-half showing when he netted just before half-time and Rashford helped his side snatch the three points deep into the second-half.

“We had a couple chances before that (winning goal)," he told BT Sport after the match. "I think there was a spell where the team was doing well, getting some good chances which was an improvement from the first-half so it was it was good to get the full reward.

"We just have to improve on starting the game to how we usually end them. It is only a small thing, but we need to get it right.

"The important thing is the three points. We've had an inconsistent start to the season and every point from now is going to make a big difference.

"Yeah, it always helps getting the three points in terms of preparing for the next game, but like you said big week ahead and we need to get starting the games right."
