Man Utd manager Solskjaer unhappy with 'clear penalty' against West Ham

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feels Manchester United were denied a clear penalty against West Ham United on Wednesday.

The Hammers secured a 1-0 win at Old Trafford to eliminate Solskjaer's side from the Carabao Cup.

But the Norwegian feels United should have had an opportunity to equalise after Jesse Lingard was brought down in the box by Mark Noble.

"It's a clear penalty for Jesse again, Mark Noble falls and pulls him down. You can't dwell too much on that," Solskjaer said.

"I've never actually won this tournament, that hunt will have to keep going, because it's a trophy I'd like to have.

"But we have to make decisions to get the squad up to speed for the rest of the season, sometimes you have to make changes, take risks and we did."
