Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was quick to defend Cristiano Ronaldo after Wednesday's 3-2 win over Atalanta.
The Portuguese forward was on the end of criticism for his lack of pressing in the 4-2 defeat to Leicester City last weekend.
Ronaldo made amends against Atalanta by scoring the winning goal after United had been down by two goals.
Speaking after the game, Solskjaer said: "Cristiano [Ronaldo] is great in front of goal.
"If anyone wants to criticise him for effort and work-rate just watch this game. Watch how he runs around."
The Red Devils are now top of Group F after three matches.
