Man Utd manager Solskjaer pleased with 'very good' Watford win

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was delighted with his side's performance against Watford on Sunday.

The Red Devils had a nervy first half, but they put Watford to the sword in the second period and won 3-0.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring from the spot in the 42nd minute, before Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood sealed the three points in the second period.

Speaking to MUTV about the game, Solskjaer said: "It was a very good win. That's two good wins and two clean sheets [in the league since the winter break], plus some goals to celebrate.

"I thought, in the first half, we started by gifting them some good opportunities but, gradually, we created more and more chances.

"It's been a very good week, overall. We also got an away goal and score-draw in Europe so I'm very pleased with everyone after the good break we had.

"That was an important week in Marbella; building team spirit, camaraderie and some understanding between players. It's working. Now we want to kick on."
