Man Utd manager Solskjaer makes statement on Jones future

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has denied that Phil Jones is done at Manchester United.

The England star has not been in the past four matchday squads for United.

The Red Devils also have Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and Axel Tuanzebe for the central defensive positions.

But Solskjaer denied that it meant Jones' United career was nearing its end.

The Norwegian told a press conference: "Phil's fit, training well, training hard and I'm sure he'll come back... Phil's fine."

Many United fans believe Jones is not good enough to start for the team, and they would welcome his sale in January or the summer.
