Man Utd manager Solskjaer: It'll be dream come true lifting trophy as coach

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits lifting a trophy as manager would be a dream come true.

United have reached several semi finals since Solskjaer took charge of the team, but they have failed to make the step up to a cup final.

They now face a two legged Europa League semi final against Roma, with the first leg taking place on Thursday at Old Trafford.

Asked if winning the competition would be a dream come true, Solskjaer told a pre-match press conference: "It will be a dream come true, the day I can lift a trophy for this club as a manager, of course.

"That's what we're building for. As you said, we've been close, we're building step by step but to take the next step, it's ifs and buts and this and that, you always talk about that.

"But for this team and for myself, our ambition this season is to finish it with lifting a trophy and being able to celebrate. I know how much that can mean to a group moving forward."
