Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits that Mason Greenwood now has the physicality to play as a striker.
Greenwood was one of the most impressive players in United's 5-1 opening weekend Premier League win over Leeds United at Old Trafford.
The teenager scored to make it 2-1 to United in the second half, while he was a constant menace for the Leeds defence.
"I think you can see how much work he has put down in his pre-season, in his summer," Solskjaer told reporters. "He has turned into a man.
"He is filling out, he is stronger. His stride is stronger and you know, when he ran away from the defender and scored his goal, it was a joy to see.
"His approach, attitude and application, everything he has done every day has been getting better and better and I think that's maturity as well in the kid.
"I don't know [if he prefers playing up front]. He just loves playing football wherever he is on the pitch. He is so clean on the ball. He is so strong. I think he enjoyed taking corners.
"When you have got kids who just play with courage and no fear whatsoever it doesn't matter where he is playing.
"He is more than capable of using his body. He has filled out. He can play down the middle dealing with bigger centre-backs."
