Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was full of praise for Paul Pogba after Thursday's 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
The Frenchman, who is out of contract next summer, scored his first United goal in 15 months with a brilliant side-footed finish.
The win pushed United's unbeaten run to 17, and Solskjaer insists Pogba is now playing in a far better team than at the start of the season.
He said: "We still have a contract with Paul. He is a fantastic person, fantastic player - one of the best midfielders in the world.
"It's a different team to the one he left when he was injured. Everything is miles better in that dressing room."
