The Red Devils star was at fault for one of the goals his team conceded against Southampton at Old Trafford in a 2-2 draw.
But Solskjaer has faith in Pogba, and believes he has been generally excellent since the Premier League restart. And if the Frenchman is fit, he will play against Crystal Palace.
"I've been speaking more or less every day with Paul. He knows that he wouldn't be dropped. When Paul plays like this he wouldn't be dropped from any team in the world - France or Man United - but he's been out for a long, long time," Solskjaer told reporters.
"There was a question mark before the game [against Southampton].
"But he felt ready for it, which was great, so now let's see how he is today or even tomorrow morning.
"He's been fantastic since the restart and brought a lot to the team."
