Man Utd manager Solskjaer baffled over Chelsea scheduling

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expressed his disbelief over Manchester United's schedule.

The Red Devils defeated Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday to keep their top-four hopes alive.

They will take on Club Brugge in the Europa League last-32 on Thursday, and Solskjaer can't understand why his team couldn't play Chelsea on Saturday.

Asked about the top-four race, Solskjaer said: "It gives us confidence and it gives us a chance. It's going to be a tight race; we're not going to get help from anyone because we played tonight and we've already got a game on Thursday night [in the Europa League].

"I cannot, for the life of me, understand why we didn't play on Saturday. We'll just have to dust ourselves off and get going again, and recover as quick as we can."

United will then host Watford in the Premier League on Sunday.
