Man Utd, Man City refuse to enter Maguire auction

Manchester United and Manchester City both agree over paying a suitable price for Harry Maguire.

Leicester City are demanding their Premier League rivals break the transfer record for a defender in order to sign their imposing centre-back.

The Foxes have been engaged in talks with both Manchester clubs but their £80m demands have fallen on deaf ears.

Sky Sports says both clubs will only pay £65m for the England international.

Maguire is reportedly happy to stay at Leicester and won't attempt to force a transfer.

However, the 26-year-old would be open to join one of the Premier League's top-six clubs.

The King Power club don't feel the need to sell Maguire and are holding out for a fee that exceeds the £75m that Liverpool paid for Virgil van Dijk last January.
