Man Utd, Man City linked with Real Madrid rebel Guti

Manchester United and Manchester City are being linked with a shock move for Real Madrid midfield schemer Guti.

The Daily Mail says the Spain international has been frozen out at the Bernabeu after a furious row with coach Manuel Pellegrini and has his heart set on a move to the Barclays Premier League.

Madrid are asking £4million, a high price for a 33-year-old, but reports in Spain say United and City are both keen to add his experience to their midfield.

City were linked to Guti in the summer and now United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has joined the race, seeing him as someone who can provide creativity in the absence of Paul Scholes, reports Spanish newspaper AS.

For the last few weeks, an English tutor has been visiting Guti's home, says the paper
