Man Utd, Man City encouraged as Coman signs with Zahavi

Manchester United and Manchester City have been encouraged after it emerged Kingsley Coman has changed agents.

The Bayern Munich star has seen new contract talks deadlocked for several months as he seeks parity with the club's highest earners. The France World Cup winner believes he deserves to be among the club's best paid senior players given the success he's helped bring to Bayern since arriving in 2017 from Juventus.

His situation has attracted interest from City and United, which made an attempt to sign the France international last summer.

Sky Deutschland via Fotboll Transfers says Coman has changed agents to Pini Zahavi - who already represents teammates David Alaba and Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern have had an open conflict with Zahavi regarding Alaba's failed contract negotiations.

Former Bavarian President Uli Hoeness went on a rampage last fall, calling Zahavi "a money-hungry piranha".

Coman's current deal runs to 2023. So far this season, the winger has managed 39 appearances, scoring eight goals and producing 15 assists in the process.
