Manchester United have made a decision not to sign Wout Weghorst on a permanent deal this summer.
The Burnley forward had been impressive during his first few weeks with United since arriving in January.
However, he faded badly after getting many starts in a row, and only has two goals from 26 appearances.
The Manchester Evening News are reporting that Weghorst has next to no chance of being at United next term.
The Red Devils are determined to sign a top forward in the summer to bolster their squad.
Regardless of who they try to purchase, Weghorst is not considered an alternative at present.
