Manchester United are ready to offer Angel Gomes a contract to keep him at the club beyond this season.

The teenager is out of contract in the summer, and has not agreed on a new deal.

The 19-year-old Englishman wants more game time, and that may be a tough thing for United to offer him right now.

But The Telegraph reports that United will offer Gomes £30,000-a-week in the hopes of convincing him that his future lies at Old Trafford.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer picked Gomes six times this season, and may have to convince the England under-20 star that he will play more games next term.

Gomes has been linked to Chelsea in recent months.
