Man Utd make Inter Milan demand for Alexis deal

Manchester United are demanding an obligatory permanent option be included in Inter Milan's deal for Alexis Sanchez.

The Mirror says Alexis's proposed loan to Inter is edging closer, with United "demanding that the move includes a £20million obligation to buy" at the conclusion of the Chilean's initial spell in Italy.

Representatives from both clubs have held talks over the past few weeks in the hope of agreeing a deal that would see the former Barcelona and Arsenal end his torrid spell at Old Trafford.

The move is likely to get the green light if United are given assurances over an obligation to purchase following the expiry of the loan deal.

The £52million signing has endured a tumultuous time of it in Manchester since joining in January 2018, netting only three times in 32 appearances, while struggling to find consistency for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
