Manchester United have failed with an attempt to sign Bournemouth forward Joshua King.
The Norway international played at United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when he was in charge of the reserves.
But Bournemouth have refused to sell their forward given they are mired in a relegation battle, claims the Daily Mail.
King has dropped his standard this season, having scored just three league goals.
He is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury but is expected to return in February.
