Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says Jose Mourinho needs to raid Real Madrid to get the best out of Paul Pogba.

Scholes believes Pogba will perform best alongside a midfield general.

He explained: "I think Mourinho should go to the market to find a midfield player who controls the game.

"They need someone who can control the movement of Paul and who can control the game. I know he's happy with the four players signed, but I still think he needs that type of player.

"Luka Modric or Toni Kroos, I think that these players are available. Paul Pogba would be much better to play with these types."
