Man Utd legend Scholes: Keep Pogba, dump EVERY off contract player

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says they can't afford to lose Paul Pogba this summer.

Pogba scored two penalies for Saturday's win over West Ham.

Speaking on BT Sport, Scholes was presented with a list of United players out of contract this summer. It showed Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian, though the Italian has a deal for next season.

When asked who United should fight for, he simply replied: "none of them."

Explaining his comments, he said: "I think there was a time going back a few years, when if United lost a player, no matter how big a player it was. Whether it was David Beckham, Roy Keane, Cristiano [Ronaldo] at times. It didn't matter, it really didn't matter.

"But at this point now, if you're losing Paul Pogba. He gets some stick for his inconsistency, we know that, but he's still scored 15 goals this season. If you sell Pogba now, you're selling your best player."
