Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is in the frame to land the Oldham Athletic job.
The Sun says Scholes, 42, will take his first steps into management at the club he supported as a boy.
He has been speaking to the League Two club and is expected to be announced as the new boss tomorrow.
Scholes, who won 11 Premier League titles with United, coached at Old Trafford after hanging up his boots.
But he has been focused on media work and was a fierce critic of Jose Mourinho before his dismissal last month.
He is also part-owner of non-league Salford City and was caretaker boss there in 2015.
