Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney is open to the possibility of returning to MLS as a coach.
Rooney is being linked to the coaching position at DC United, where he was a player.
The club are still seeking a permanent replacement for Hernan Losada, who was sacked in April.
Rooney played for DC United for 14 months, and most recently managed Derby County in the English Championship.
While Rooney is said to be enjoying time off with his family, he is open to any move to further his coaching career, according to ESPN.
