Manchester United legend Bryan Robson believes recent signing Michael Owen can return to the England squad.

Robson says that Owen can regain his old form at Old Trafford and push for selection in Fabio Capello's Three Lions team.

"He will be in and around the box and I can see him scoring a lot of goals. I can also see him getting back into the England squad," Robson said.

"It is a great signing, getting someone like Michael in on a free transfer. He is a great player, he is only 29 and for me he is at the peak of his career.

"The way United play and the way they dominate possession will suit Michael's game."
