Man Utd legend Neville denies taking swipe at Moyes

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has been accused of taking a swipe at Real Sociedad coach David Moyes.

United roared into a 3-0 lead against Newcastle before boss Louis van Gaal subbed off Radamel Falcao for teenage ace James Wilson.

It left United with none of their new Galactico signings playing.

That didn't go unnoticed by Neville, who wrote: "Now 11 players on the pitch available last season for United.."

One fan replied: "Pretty sure Moyes was doing quite well at this stage last season? Harsh dig."

But Neville denied taking a pop at the sacked Scot, who recruited brother Phil to his coaching staff at Old Trafford.

The former England right-back replied: "Wasn't a dig at all."
