Manchester United legend Gary Neville has opened up on what it was like to play at Anfield.

The atmosphere at Anfield is widely regarded as one of the best in the world.

"I always think Anfield is a mad place," he said. "You are never safe there. If that crowd gets up, you are done.

"I used to hate this song (You'll Never Walk Alone) coming on at the end of the game, you knew you was in big trouble.

"It was the worst place to lose in the world. It was the worst place to lose."
