Manchester United legend Roy Keane says life after football is "scary".
Keane made the admission after being asked about Paul Scholes' impressive debut as a Sky Sports pundit.
"You keep involved, you keep the brain going. I'm not going to dampen the night for everybody but the pitfalls for ex-footballers are frightening in terms of addictions, gambling, bankruptcies and divorces.
"It's pretty scary so I think it's important that ex-players get an opportunity at whatever it might be, doing TV or making appearances.
"Scholesy kept it simple [on TV] and it was the way he played. I loved playing with Scholesy and, you know what, it was nice to see him last night [Tuesday]."
