Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton is excited about the current crop of kids at the club.

Hotshot 17-year-old Federico Macheda was among four teenagers in the starting line-up for Sunday's FA Cup semifinal, with Anderson and Darron Gibson, both 21, anchoring the midfield.

Sir Bobby said: "If Alex puts lads like that into such a big game, it is because he thinks are ready and have ability.

"We are seeing that talent now. There are some marvellous young players at the club and it is looking really good over the next few years."
