Manchester United have made an offer for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi claimed on his YouTube channel that the Red Devils wanted to show their backing for incoming manager Erik ten Hag with the statement signing.

But instead it's reckoned Inter are keen to keep the 24-yar-old.

In contrast, Martial, 26, is now on loan at Sevilla after failing to find consistent form for United.

And he's likely to be one of the players Ten Hag would happily move on in the summer.
